An air conditioning device for supplying heated or cooled air to at least one area with air conditioning, a thermostat in said area for requesting a supply of said air to said area at a predetermined temperature, said device comprising a box having an outlet of air and an outlet, with cooling means upstream to lower the temperature of a main stream of air circulating from said intake through said box to said outlet, means for dividing said main stream of air into a first part and a second part part, means for heating the air of said first part of the main stream, means for detecting the temperature of said first heated part of the air stream and means responsive to said zone thermostat and said detected temperature for mixing said two parts of said air stream in a proportion that provides an air stream at said temperature p redetermined.
