Abstract
Improvements in apparatus for the distribution of hot and cold air, characterized by comprising a housing with a discharge opening in one of its walls and with first and second inlet openings arranged, respectively, in border walls and capable of being connected, respectively, with hot and cold air supply ducts of the air distribution system; dividing means with an air passage therethrough, arranged in the housing and cooperating therewith to limit an air mixing chamber communicating with the aforementioned first and second openings and with said air passage and to define an air chamber attenuation that communicates with the mixing chamber through said air passage and with the discharge opening; hot and cold air supply valves, functionally associated respectively with the first and second inlet openings, to regulate the relative amounts of hot and cold air supplied to the mixing chamber from the hot and cold air supply ducts of the distribution; the openings and inlet valves are constituted and arranged in such a way that the currents of hot and cold air introduced into the mixing chamber form eddies in it in a contiguous relationship, but in opposite directions, and a control device associated with the passage of air and arranged to maintain a practically constant circulation through it and the apparatus.
