Abstract

Oils or greases are modified by the addition, preferably in amounts of from a trace to 25 wt. per cent of lubricant, of a powdered alloy comprising Cu and Pb (e.g. Pb 20-48%, balance Cu) which has been treated (see Division C7) to make it homogeneous. The use of the lubricant in sealed units is referred to.
