Procedure for the preparation of new amino-dibenzo [b, f] [1,4] -oxasepin-11 (1CH) -ones of the general formula **(See formula)** wherein R1 signifies a hydrogen atom or a straight or branched chain lower alcohol radical; means a hydrogen or halogen atom or a lower alcohol radical; one of the radicals R3 and R4 signifies a free amino group and the other of these radicals signifies a hydrogen atom, as well as its salts with physiologically compatible organic or inorganic acids, characterized in that, according to per se known methods, a compound of the formula **(See formula)** in which R1 and R2 show the aforementioned meanings, and is then alcoholized, if desired, according to per se known methods, to a compound of formula I thus obtained in which the radical R1 means a straight or branched chain alcohol radical, and/or, if desired, the compounds obtained are transformed into their salts by adding acid with physiologically compatible organic or inorganic acids.
