Abstract
Process for obtaining new carbocyclic compounds, especially of new substantially substituted 9,10-dihydro-anthracene derivatives and their salts, characterized in that the compounds of the general formula I, wherein R 1 and R 2, each signify a group of alkyl or of lower alkylene, an alkyl group under either R3 or R3 is hydrogen and R6 with together form a tri- or tetramethylene group or is hydrogen and R6 with R3 together form a di- or trimethylenic group and X means hydrogen or chlorine, are obtained by reaction of the compounds of the general formula II, wherein R1, R2 and x have the meaning above with compounds of the general formula III, where R3 to R6 have the meaning above, and Y is for a chlorine, bromine or iodine atom, hydrolysis of the reaction product and further dissociation of water of the compounds thus obtained of formula IV, wherein R1 to R6 and X have the above meaning, and the compounds thus obtained of the general formula I, if appropriate, is transformed in a manner known per se into its acid addition salts.
