Abstract

The invention relates to a device for humidifying and/or cleaning air with a housing which has a trough which is suitable for receiving liquid, with a plate stack which is mounted rotatably and driven in the inside of the housing and the plates of which are submerged with a part of their surface in the trough, and with a fan which is contained in the housing and which draws air through an inlet opening of the housing, blows it between the plates of the plate stack and allows it to emerge through an outlet opening of the housing. It is envisaged that the housing consists of a lower part (10) which forms the trough, a central part (12) which can be mounted thereon and contains a drive unit and the fan, and an upper part (14) which can be put over the central part (12) in a hood-like manner and which covers air openings of the central part (12) with a grid structure.
