Abstract
The invention comprises the compound of formula <FORM:1020158/C2/1> and its preparation from b -(1-naphthyl)-b 1-tetrahydrofurylisobutyric acid either by azeotropically esterifying with diethylaminoethanol or by reacting with b -chloroethyl-N-diethylamine. Pharmaceutical compositions comprise compound I with carriers. Oral (tablets), rectal (suppositories) and parenteral (solutions) administration is mentioned. The compound is antispasmodic.
