Abstract
Improvements in armature windings for rotating electric machines, comprising at least two winding elements, each with two layers of conductors on the opposite sides of an internal insulator, each conductor terminated by two end contacts whose angular separation defines a winding step, the elements being coupled by intermediation of thin adhesive layers, characterized in that each layer of the winding is of the wavy-series type and has an identical layout to any other layer of the winding with a conductor pitch equal to the product of the step that normal series for a winding of a single element and the same total number of conductors, by the number of elements coupled; because in each layer, a number of conductor terminal contacts, equal to the number of spiral circuits followed in each element, or to this number increased by one unit, are each subdivided into as many surfaces as elements; one of these surfaces remains connected to the related conductor, and the other or the others are electrically isolated from this conductor and between them, and because these elements are coupled with a real angular offset of one of said subdivisions from one element to another, with connections between conductors of opposite faces in each element systematic for the definition of said spiral circuits and with systematic connections by means of the subdivided terminal surfaces for the systematic passage from one element to the next of the assembly, in each end of spiral circuit in a spiral element that, without this step would close again by itself and that, with this step is in series with spirals of other elements of the set.
