Tap valve for liquefied petroleum gases, with built-in safety device, which is constituted from a tubular body of material compatible with butane and propane gases, with means of coupling to the gas container bottle and with an outlet nozzle, as well as with a driving handle for opening and closing the gas, is essentially characterized in that the outlet nozzle has a synthetic rubber gasket internally, which, in collaboration with a screw cap on the lateral surface of such nozzle, guarantees the sealing of the valve during transport and storage of the bottles in which said valve is applied, in case of accidental opening thereof; having provided that the valve body has a cylindrical radial section with conduit, in which a safety device is mounted that allows gas evacuation when the pressure of the latter inside the bottle exceeds a set value, the output when said pressure has been lowered to another determined value, such device comprising a kind of bushing internal to the tubular section that is pushed inward by a spring, in turn pushing said bushing to a sealing gasket, against the inner mouth of the outlet conduit defined in the cylindrical section in which the assembly of the aforementioned safety device is mounted; with the particularity that the coupling section to the bottle has a conical external thread through which said coupling and fixing of the valvular body to the bottle is effected, while in opposition to said coupling section there is provided the cylindrical mounting section of the actuating blanket allowing the opening and closing of the gas, the corresponding sealing and/or opening element formed by an annular body with sealing joints provided between its external part and the internal lateral surface of the cylindrical section wherein said sealing and/or opening element is located.
