Abstract

The device is used for fixing a component in the recess of a motor vehicle part and consists of a resilient and V-shaped lock-in part, a resilient support part, a shoulder integrally formed on the component and a rigid leading bevel. The lock-in part has a lock-in nose engaging in the opening in the recess. The resilient support part is arranged in the vicinity of the lock-in part and between the component and the car body. On the side opposite the lock-in part the shoulder is arranged in an opening in the recess and locks the component in the light exit direction. The leading bevel is formed by the rear side of the component. On pressing the component into the recess the component is displaced by means of the leading bevel against the resilience of the lock-in part to such an extent that the shoulder of the component is no longer in engagement with the opening in the recess. The component can then be swivelled about the nose of the lock-in part engaging in the opening in the recess and out of the recess.
