Adjustment means for vehicle seats includes means for operating at least two Bowden cables, 10-13, (30-33) independently of one another with a common operating handle 19, (44). The Bowden cables are each operatively associated with draw plates 16, (34, 38, 52) which lie parallel to one another or which cross over one another. The operating handle 19, (44) pulls or tilts the draw plates to cause the adjustment to be effected through the Bowden cables.
