Improvements introduced in the manufacture of polygonal cross-section containers in which bundles or packages of congruent tetrahedral shape are closely stacked, the four tetrahedral faces of each container being congruent and, therefore, at least isosceles; characterized said improvements by the fact that said containers are arranged in groups superimposed and/or underlying fan, and have one of its two opposite perpendicular edges in the "vertex" of the respective group and the other along the "arc" of the same, each of said groups having its vertex next to a corner edge of the container so that it defines a "sector angle" substantially equal to the angle comprised between the two lateral walls of the container that meet or cut along said edge corner.
