Abstract

Freno de disco, del tipo que comprende un caliper montado para deslizarse paralelamente al eje del disco de freno sobre un soporte fijo; dos pastillas de fricción situadas en dicho caliper en cualquiera de los lados del disco y montadas para deslizarse paralelamente a dicho eje; un orificio rectangular de montaje delimitado por dos bordes de guía paralelo al eje del disco proporcionado en el caliper para permitir el paso de la parte activa de las pastillas de fricción, teniendo cada placa soporte de forro de cada una de estas últimas, un saliente de apoyo opuesto al correspondiente borde de guía; una chaveta transversal capaz de introducirse entre un borde de guía del caliper y el correspondiente saliente de apoyo de las dos placas vara evitar cualquier movimiento radial final de las pastillas; y un motor de control montado en la parte interna del caliper y capaz de someter a tensión a la pastilla interna en la dirección de la pastilla externa que apoya contra la cabeza del caliper; caracterizado porque el caliper se monta sobre el soporte fijo por medio de una sola columna paralela al eje del disco de freno; porque la placa soporte del forro de la pastilla interna incorpora, por debajo del borde de guía separado de la columna, un tetón pivotante semicircular y, por debajo del borde de guía adyacente a dicha columna, un contorno curvado situado dentro de un círculo, cuyo radio es igual a la distancia entre el eje pivote de dicho tetón y la arista de apoyo inferior del borde de guía adyacente; y porque el soporte fijo tiene, por debajo del borde de guía alejado de la columna, un receptáculo de sujeción semicilíndrico, cuyo eje es paralelo al eje del disco de freno y que está abierto hacia el borde de guía adyacente a la columna y es capaz de recibir al tetón pivotante, acoplándose la chaveta transversal por encima del receptáculo de sujeción entre el correspondiente borde de guía y los salientes de apoyo de las dos pastillas de freno.
