Abstract

Sectorial centrifugal spray apparatus intended for low volume and very low volume spraying of liquids, especially for agricultural use, for the purposes of applying herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, pesticides, fertilisers, and for other treatments in which liquids are used, comprises a centrifuging rotor or drum (1) and a regulating chamber (4) fastened to said centrifuging rotor, the rotor and chamber being driven by a motor or transmission shaft (2) housed in a container (3) fastened to a body (6), the assembly comprising the centrifuging rotor (1) and the regulating chamber (4) rotating inside said casing (6), in which a sectorial aperture (7) is provided to enable the liquid to pass out at the open part of the rotor. Preferably the centrifuging rotor or drum (1) is of slightly frustoconical shape with its larger side open. The apparatus also preferably includes an axial pump (11) driven from the motor or transmission shaft (2) for recycling of liquids.
