Abstract

The machine consists of a metal frame (1) on which are mounted spraying and dusting assemblies. The sprayer comprises a pump (2) driven by the tractor power take-off (3). On the driven shaft (4) is a pulley (5) which transmits the drive via pulley (7) to a high capacity fan (9). Pump (2) sucks the spray liquid from tank (12) and delivers it to lateral spray booms with nozzles (14) situated in the output area of fan (9). The dusting assembly consists of a storage hopper (15) in which rotates a mixing auger. From the auger an outlet (18) opens into a duct (19) leading to an orifice (20) situated at the shaft commong to fan (9) and a smaller fan (21) turning in a cylinder (22) whence the powder is delivered tangentially through six ducts (23) in the delivery area of fan (9).
