Abstract

Armadura de seguridad aligerada para volante de conducción del tipo que va incluida en el interior de una mala de material espumoso que, posteriormente, se recubre con un forro exterior y que comprende un núcleo central al que van incorporados los extremos inferiores de dos radios que discurren en sentido oblicuo-ascendente y cuyos extremos superiores se fijan al aro, caracterizada porque, sobre dos puntos de dicho aro entre cuyos centros existe una separación angular de 110º aproximadamente, concurren los dos extremos de un doble radio rematados con una zona de aplastamiento acabada en bisel para mejor ceñirse al perfil del aro; y porque la unión de las dos piezas se asegura con una brida de aluminio inyectado sobre la zona bajo la forma exterior de una "T" cuyo travesaño copia la curvatura del aro mientras que el vástago se acopla sobre el terminal aplastado del radio copiando igualmente sus formas.
