Abstract

Interruptor automático unipolar de reducidas dimensiones, caracterizado porque comprende una carcasa (1) con una pared frontal abierta, normalmente en forma de paralelepípedo, la cual presenta una dimensión transversal igual al módulo de los dispositivos eléctricos del tipo de instalación de viviendas, en unión con el cual ha de ser empleado el referido interruptor la mencionada pared frontal abierta, que tiene un elemento de control (3) en forma de palanca de balancín que sobresale de la misma pared, va provista preferentemente de una tira de sujeción (2) que permite que la carcasa (1) sea montada sobre un bastidor de soporte para los referidos dispositivos eléctricos de tipo intercambiable, estando dispuestos por el interior de la mencionada carcasa de interruptor y de forma transversal a la misma mecánicamente unidos entre sí, un contacto móvil de fase (4) y un contacto móvil de neutro (5); los referidos contactos móviles actúan respectivamente en conjunto con los correspondientes contactos fijos (6) y (7), con lo que en fase de apertura del referido interruptor son desconectados al mismo tiempo tanto el conductor de fase como el conductor de neutro del aparato o circuito que ha de ser protegido.
