Abstract
1.Manguito de sutura elíptico para válvula cardíaca protética, caracterizado porque comprende un tubo tricotado que consiste en materiales de hilo multifilamentario biocompatibles, estando formado dicho tubo tricotado en una pluralidad de pliegues para proporcionar un manguito de sutura elíptico y montado en el exterior de una válvula cardíaca protética de forma redonda en plata, incluyendo dicho tubo tricotado materiales en exceso en lugares predeterminados espaciados entre sí, con lo que dicho manguito de sutura está radialmente agrandado en lugares predeterminados espaciados entre sí para definir un manguito de sutura de forma elíptica en planta, siendo dicho tubo tricotado una pieza enteriza de material con columnas que se extienden en esencia por toda la longitud de dicho tubo, estando situadas dichas columnas en alineación sustancialmente vertical de un pliegue al siguiente y teniendo dicho manguito de sutura una porosidad sustancialmente uniforme en toda su extensión. 2.Manguito según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque dicha válvula incluye un paso practicado en ella, y en el que hay un disco libremente flotante de forma redondeada en planta frenado dentro de dicho paso de manera que sea libre para moverse un respuesta al flujo de fluido a través de dicho paso entre posiciones abiertas y cerrada por pivotamiento generalmente en sentido cordal dentro de dicho paso y para girar alrededor de su propio eje de rotación. 3.Manguito según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque dicho manguito de sutura de forma elíptica en planta tiene un diámetro menor y un diámetro mayor, y la relación de la longitud de dicho diámetro menor a la longitud de dicho diámetro mayor es de aproximadamente 0,80 a 0,93. 4.Manguito según la reivindicación 2, caracterizado porque dicho manguito de sutura de forma elíptica en planta tiene un diámetro menor y un diámetro mayor, y dicho diámetro mayor se extiende aproximadamente paralelo a una cuerda instantánea alrededor de la cual pivota dicho disco. 5.Manguito según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque dicha válvula cardíaca protética es una válvula mitral. 6.Manguito según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque dicho tubo tricotado está cortado a un perfil tal que material tricotado adicional que forma una sola pieza con dicho tubo tricotado queda dispuesto en dichos lugares espaciados entre sí para agrandar radialmente dicho manguito de sutura. 7.Manguito de sutura elíptico para válvula cardíaca protética.
