Abstract
Razor assembly comprising a razor blade having a cutting edge, an upper cap and a protective bar spaced from the adjacent edge of the upper cap to form an opening therebetween, a blade holder in which the blade is fixed, side members disposed along opposite sides of the blade and an operator member arranged to swing relative to the side members in order to effect a relative movement between the blade and the top cap, between a shaving position in which the edge of the blade is exposed in said opening for shaving and a non-shaving position in which the edge of the blade is not exposed, characterized in that the blade (313) is fixed relative to the protective bar (316), the cap the upper member is connected to the operator member (317), the operator member (317) is arranged to tilt about a geometric axis that is parallel to the edge of the blade for moving the upper hood and, in a complete razor, the operator member is mounted on a handle (310) of the assembly.
