Abstract

Aparato generador de A1-metilciclopropeno (1-MCP) que comprende: un primer recipiente que comprende un precursor de 1-metilciclopropeno; un segundo recipiente que comprende una solución de compuesto que contiene iones fluoruro que reacciona con el precursor de 1-metilciclopropeno para producir 1-metilciclopropeno; y un tercer recipiente que incluye un filtro para eliminar del producto de reacción los subproductos excepto el 1- metilciclopropeno; en donde el primer recipiente, el segundo recipiente y el tercer recipiente, o el segundo recipiente, el primer recipiente y el tercer recipiente están conectados de forma secuencial entre sí a través de un tubo, y un gas portador que es introducido en uno cualquiera del primer recipiente y el segundo recipiente para transferir cualquiera de los precursores de 1-metilciclopropeno y la solución del compuesto que contiene iones fluoruro al otro del primer recipiente y al segundo recipiente, de modo que el precursor del 1-metilciclopropeno y la solución del compuesto que contiene iones fluoruro reaccionan entre sí, en donde a medida que el gas portador se mueve del primer recipiente o del segundo recipiente al otro de ellos, el gas portador descarga al tercer recipiente un producto de reacción que incluye 1-metilciclopropeno producido en el otro del primer recipiente y el segundo recipiente, en donde el precursor de 1-metilciclopropeno es un derivado de :-halociclopropilsilano representado por la Fórmula 1 a continuación: **(Ver fórmula)** en la que A es un grupo metilo; B es un átomo de hidrógeno; X es un átomo de halógeno o un grupo saliente que contiene uno cualquiera seleccionado de un átomo de oxígeno, un átomo de azufre, un átomo de nitrógeno y un átomo de fósforo; y cada uno de R1, R2 y R3 es, independientemente, uno de un átomo de hidrógeno, un grupo alquilo C1-C10, un grupo arilo C6-C10, un grupo alcoxi C1-C10 y un átomo de halógeno, y en donde el compuesto que contiene iones fluoruro es un compuesto representado por la Fórmula 2 a continuación: **(Ver fórmula)** en la que cada uno de Ra, Rb, Rc y Rd es, independientemente, un grupo alquilo C1-C20 o un grupo arilo C6-C15.
