Abstract
Un método para fabricar un producto de construcción basado en yeso, que comprende las etapas de: - proporcionar una cantidad de partículas de dihidrato de sulfato de calcio, teniendo dichas partículas de dihidrato de sulfato de calcio una dimensión más larga y una dimensión lateral, correspondiendo la dimensión lateral a la anchura máxima de la partícula alrededor de su eje definido por la dimensión más larga y teniendo dichas partículas de dihidrato de sulfato de calcio una relación de aspecto baja de forma que para al menos un 75% de las partículas de dihidrato de sulfato de calcio, el valor de la dimensión lateral es al menos un 20% del valor de la dimensión más larga y en que las partículas de dihidrato de sulfato de calcio están presentes en una cantidad de 50-90% p del producto; - proporcionar un aglutinante orgánico para aglutinar las partículas de dihidrato de sulfato de calcio conjuntamente; - mezclar el dihidrato de sulfato de calcio y el aglutinante; y - permitir que la mezcla de dihidrato de sulfato de calcio y aglutinante se cure para proporcionar un producto de construcción que es una estructura autosustentable.
