Abstract

A window for a washing machine comprises a glass member (1) having a circumferential edge (2) which projects outwardly and an annular support (3) of plastics material for the said window. The support (3) comprises two complementary rings (4, 5) which nest together and have two flanges or opposing end portions (9 to 12) towards the centre between which the circumferential edge (2) of the glass member (1) is secured after the two rings have been joined together.
