Abstract

The container stack composed of individual containers in the hold of a ship must be connected on the ship by suitable stowage struts in order to secure the loading position, in which case the stowage struts have to be variable in length for adaptation to a predominant loading position. To this end, a stowage strut is proposed which according to the invention is provided with an adjusting coupling (11). The adjusting coupling (11) consists of two coupling halves (coupling strap 23, cone piece 24) and has in each case tooth systems (28, 31) which permit a positive-locking connection between coupling strap (23) and cone piece (24) in various positions of the same relative to one another.
