[0001] The present invention relates to a self-adhesive label that is intended to be placed around the periphery of a receptacle with a lid such as an aerosol can or the like.

[0002] It is known that such receptacles, such as aerosol cans, are provided with a label along its periphery that is printed with the registered trademark and other product details, such as composition, instructions for use and the like.
