Abstract

A container 1 for pasty products comprises a deformable tube 2 which, at a product-dispensing end, has a head 4 comprising a threaded cylindrical base portion 6 to which can be screwed a closure cap 10, an intermediate portion 7 of decreasing diameter, and a flattened portion 8 in the centre of which a dispensing orifice 9 is formed. The intermediate portion 7 may be a segment of an ellipsoid or frustoconical. The outer diameter of the base portion 6 may be equal to that of the tube adjacent the base portion or, alternatively, may be such that the caps when screwed onto the head is externally flush with the tube adjacent the base portion 6. The cap 10 may be provided with an annular protuberance 13 or a pin (15, figure 4) to cooperate with the head to seal the orifice 9.
