Abstract
Un método de detección de la inestabilidad de control inminente en un sistema (110) que comprende un efector, comprendiendo el método: aplicar, usando el efector, un estímulo a un objeto (100); proporcionar una señal que representa un parámetro que indica la oscilación del objeto (100) mientras que el estímulo se aplica al objeto (100); y monitorizar la amplitud de un tono dominante en una banda de frecuencia seleccionada de la señal, siendo el tono dominante la frecuencia de amplitud máxima en la banda de frecuencia seleccionada; caracterizado por que el método comprende además realizar una acción para evitar la inestabilidad de control inminente si la amplitud del tono dominante supera de manera persistente un umbral durante un período de tiempo especificado, en el que se suman la energía de los picos del tono dominante y de los harmónicos del tono dominante, y la suma se compara con un umbral para determinar si la inestabilidad de control es inminente.
