The invention relates to an apparatus for cooking with a housing, which has exterior walls and in which a muffle is located. The muffle delimits with walls of the muffle a cooking chamber. It is known that the walls of the furniture have housing niches, in which cooking appliances can be positioned. Such furniture niches are usually sized such that the appliances are placed there with little play. For a cooking process in an oven for built-in cooking or a built-in kitchen, the oven is heated and therefore the flask at temperatures of for example 300 ° C. In cooking appliances in which there is even a pyrolysis function, heating is carried out even at temperatures of around 500 ° C and more. However, the heating that takes place in the adjoining furniture must not exceed 70 ° C. In order to achieve such a drastic temperature drop between the cooking appliance and the adjoining housing furniture, various technical measures are known and have to be carried out, the corresponding thermal insulation around the cooking chamber and / or cooling being configured here. by correspondingly sized air. Document DE 10 2004 047 997 A1 describes a cooking appliance in which parts of the housing are configured with a profile by means of prints. In the area of functional parts strongly subjected to heat, which are in the immediate proximity of these housing parts, there is a side part of the housing in the area of the embossing other embossing patterns, in order to achieve an improved stability of the housing part made of thin sheet material.

It is an object of the present invention to achieve a cooking apparatus and a configuration in which either with which a necessary temperature drop is achieved, however the volume of the correspondingly large cooking chamber is dimensioned.

This objective is achieved by means of a cooking appliance and a configuration according to the independent claims.

A cooking appliance according to the invention includes a housing, which has exterior walls. A muffle is arranged in the housing, delimiting some walls of the muffle a cooking chamber. The muffle is thus wrapped or surrounded by the outer walls of the housing. An essential idea of the invention has to be considered to be that at least one outer wall present in an area of the surface adjacent to a nearby muffle wall a cavity configured towards the muffle wall, being configured in a bottom of the Cavity a stamped area. It may be provided that at least one stamped element is configured with a boundary contour without corners. For example, the stamped element may have a circular contour contour or an oval delimiter contour.

It can also be provided that at least one stamped element is configured with a polygonal bounding contour. In this regard, a configuration variant with an at least quadrangular boundary contour is particularly advantageous here, in particular a hexagonal boundary contour. By means of this specific conformation of the boundary contour, a very compact arrangement of the stamped elements can be made, for example in the form of a honeycomb or in the form of a matrix, so that as regards the aforementioned requirements, an especially relevant embodiment is performed.
