Aparato freidor doméstico, que comprende un depósito de recepción de un baño de cocción, así como una cesta provista de una empuñadura, y susceptible de ocupar bien una posición de cocción, para la cual esta cesta es sumergida en el baño, bien una posición de goteo, para la que esta cesta es mantenida sobre el baño por un dispositivo de enganche, montado sobre la empuñadura, y que se apoya sobre el depósito, caracterizado porque llevando la empuñadura un brazo descendente externo al depósito, el dispositivo de enganche comprende un dedo, montado móvil sobre el citado brazo descendente, y susceptible de ocupar de este modo, bajo el mando de un botón, montado móvil sobre la empuñadura, bien una posición de extensión para la que el dedo, que forma saliente hacia el depósito, puede apoyarse sobre el borde superior de este depósito para mantener la cesta en. posición de goteo, bien una posición de contracción para la que, separándose el dedo del depósito, el descenso de la cesta hacia la posición de cocción es permitido.
