Abstract

A wall mounting system (31) for a cantilever piece of furniture (30), of the type that includes: - at least two separate brackets (32) that can be equipped with a wall fixing means (38) (31, 57 ) - two hooking devices (33) with which said furniture can be equipped, being suitable to be hooked to said supports (32), - a support bar (34) that can be equipped with said fixing means (38) to said wall (31) in which said at least two separate supports (32) are plates (32) having at least one hole (42) for insertion and engagement of a relative engagement device (33), said plates they are incorporated into the support bar (34) and are mounted on said bar (34) such that its relative position can be regulated, said at least two supports (32) being slidably inserted on said bar (34) that it is shaped like a guide rail, the longitudinal edges of said bar being ra (34) formed to form two opposite sections (36) for the retention and guidance of said plates (32), said plates (32) having edges (39) suitable for being inserted and retained within said sections (36).

DESCRIPTION

Wall mounting system of a cantilever furniture

The present invention relates to a wall mounting system of a cantilever furniture, which can be a wall cabinet, or a so-called base, which is part, for example, of a kitchen, bathroom or living room furniture. to be.

The term wall cabinet, by itself, will be used in the following lines for reasons of simplicity.

As is known by those skilled in the art, extremely long continuous bars (usually two to four meters) are used for the firm mounting of cantilever furniture (suspended / hanging) on the wall, or short bars or plates made custom, which are fixed to the wall and are located between the margins

10 (sides) of the furniture.

The plates may also be equipped with disconnection systems, as described and illustrated, for example, in Italian patent application MI2009A000699, deposited on, with particular reference to Figures 21-29.

For a better understanding of the present invention, the description and drawings of said application should be considered as an integral part of this text.

The furniture is equipped with hooking devices called "recessed hanging brackets" that are attached to said bars or plates.

Said wall mounting mounts are fixed to the furniture in correspondence with the margins (sides) and are equipped with mechanisms for regulating the height and depth of the furniture, with respect to the wall 20 and the possible adjacent furniture.

An example of a recessed hanging support is illustrated in the international patent PCT / EP2009 / 005627, deposited whose content should be considered as an integral part of this text, for a better understanding of the present invention. WO 2010/043568 shows another wall mounting system. The main essential conditions that must be satisfied for a correct assembly of the wall cabinet are that the interlocks

25 between the plates fixed to the wall and the one arranged between the hanging supports fixed to the furniture, be the same, with the plates at the same height with respect to the floor.

Taking into account the above, the phases necessary to fix (suspend / hang) a piece of furniture to the wall are the following:

1. The furniture must be equipped with at least two hanging brackets that are normally applied to the respective margins (sides) of the furniture, during the assembly process of the same furniture.

2. Fixing the plates to the wall. This constitutes the most important, most demanding, most difficult and most unpleasant operation that the assembler / installer must carry out, obviously in the place where the part must be mounted.

Starting from an elementary piece of furniture, as already mentioned, it is very important to fix at least two plates to

35 the wall, which are perfectly separated from each other at the predetermined distance and at the same height from the ground. The gap between the plates (hook points) must coincide with that of the hooks of the hanging supports, which must be hooked to the plates. It should be noted in this regard, that the hooks of hooks and hanging brackets normally adhere to the back of the furniture, insofar as they should limit as much as possible the formation of

40 moments of wide torque that are generated when the so-called "base" furniture, that is, a piece of furniture with an important depth dimension (for example, base pieces of a kitchen, bathroom or living room furniture ), are suspended. When the hooks strictly adhere to the back (side) of the furniture, the plates fixed to the wall must, consequently, also be located very close to the sides: for this reason it is necessary an extremely precise positioning of the

45 plates to the wall.

3. Once the plates have been fixed to the wall, the furniture is hooked / hung, also regulating the height and depth by means of the mentioned mechanisms, with which the hanging brackets are currently equipped.

During assembly operations as previously mentioned, the installer may encounter, while drilling the wall, a series of problems, such as water pipes, electrical cables, inconsistent portions of the wall, which virtually prevent fixing of the plates.

Likewise, the installer may not have acted entirely accurately and, consequently, the interlocks between the hanging brackets do not match those arranged between the plates, even if the latter are equipped with loops to regulate their position.

In particular, in living rooms, the furniture can be composed of several joints close to each other: in this case, the problem of precision increases, as the presence of various furniture must be taken into account

adjacent. The general objective of the present invention is to provide a system for wall mounting of cantilever furniture that satisfies the aforementioned requirements, overcoming the drawbacks of the known technique.

10 The stated objective is achieved by means of a mounting system with the characteristics indicated in the

claim 1 and in the appended claim. The structural and functional characteristics of the invention and its advantages over the known technique will be clearly understood from the subsequent description, with reference to the accompanying drawings, which show two possible embodiments of the invention.

cabinet 30 can be fixed to a wall 31.

40 For this purpose, plates 32 (at least two) fixed to the wall 31 are used, together with the respective hanging brackets 33 (at least two) fixed to the sides of the furniture 30. As already indicated, for correct assembly of the furniture, all the plates 32 must be fixed to the wall 31 to the

same height H with respect to the ground P, and with an interlock X equal to the interlock X 'between the hangers 33 (figures 1 and 2). The plates 32 and the hangers 33 are not described in detail, since they can be the same as those of the aforementioned patents.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, which is illustrated in Figures 8-15, the wall mounting of a cabinet can be carried out using a rail-rail 34, whose longitudinal edges are shaped as shown in the numeral reference 35 to define two opposite retention sections 36 guiding the plates 32 (Figure 15).

5 The bar 34 also has a plurality of holes (loops) 37 for fixing to the wall 31 by means of pins 38.

The plates 32, as indicated in Figure 8, are typically inserted, in necessary number within the rail bar 34.

This operation is carried out by acting from the free ends of the bar 34, by inserting the corresponding 10 edges 39 of the plates 32 into the sections 36.

The plates 32 can easily be arranged to slide along the rail-rail 34 until the preset position is reached, in which they are fixed by means of pins 40 (Figure 15).

In accordance with the above with reference to the figures, it can easily be understood that for an installer it is extremely simple to satisfy the necessary conditions of absolute precision of the

15 interlock between the plates 32 and the alignment thereof, so that the furniture 30 can be hooked thereto with total simplicity and safety, inserting the hooks 41 of the hanging supports 33 into the corresponding hole 42 of the plate 32, the which will be perfectly positioned on the geometric axis (figure 5).

As already indicated, in fact, the plates 32 are located along the bar-rail 34 in a slot X which is totally identical to the slot X 'between the hanging supports 33.

Figures 16-22 show a second possible embodiment of the invention, in which, in a bar 50 there are at least two solid support sections 51, separated from each other, for the assembly of a cabinet 52. Said sections 51 substantially have the same function as the plates 32, object of the first embodiment of the invention described above, and equipped with reinforcing ribs 56.

Section 51 can be advantageously made from bar 50 by means of drawing

25, calculating a gap between the two sections 51 perfectly equal to the gap between the hangers 33.

The bar 50 is also provided with holes (loops) 54 for fixing to the wall 57 by means of pins 38 or equivalent means.

In this embodiment of the invention, the installer has to handle a single piece, instead of a

30 plurality of pieces, as in the first embodiment and the coupling of the furniture is guaranteed at the first attempt, insofar as the interlocks between the sections 51 are identical to those of the hanging brackets 33.

The length of the bar 50 is calculated in relation to the length of the furniture.

In both embodiments, plates 32 and section 51 may be equipped with anti-engagement systems 55 in correspondence with holes 42, as described in the patent application.

As already indicated, the hanging brackets 33 are normally equipped with mechanisms 58, 59, to regulate respectively the height and depth of the wall cabinet to which the hanging bracket 33 itself is fixed, as described in the PCT patent application / EP2009 / 005627.

The objectives indicated in the preamble of the description, therefore, have been achieved.
