Abstract

Dispositivo de osteosíntesis para el tratamiento de las fracturas del cuello del fémur, que comprende un vástago femoral (1) de sección transversal rectangular u oblonga, destinado a ser insertado en el canal medular del fémur, un tornillo cefálico (2) destinado a ser insertado por lo menos en parte en la cabeza y el cuello del fémur, presentando dicho tornillo cefálico (2) un orificio transversal (25) de recepción de dicho vástago femoral (1), y un elemento de compresión (3), que permite acoplar dicho vástago femoral y dicho tornillo cefálico, comprendiendo dicho orificio transversal (25) dos paredes transversales opuestas, denominadas respectivamente "distal" (252) y "proximal" (251), siendo la distancia (D) entre la arista denominada "superior" (252a) de la pared transversal distal (252) situada en el plano de la abertura de entrada (253) de dicho orificio transversal (25) y la proyección ortogonal de la arista paralela denominada "inferior" (251b) de la pared transversal proximal (251) en este mismo plano de la abertura de entrada (253) de dicho orificio transversal (25), superior o igual a la anchura (L) de dicho vástago femoral (1), caracterizado por que dichas paredes distal (252) y proximal (251) del orificio transversal (25) están inclinadas en el mismo sentido con respecto al eje longitudinal (X1-X'1) de dicho tornillo cefálico (2), y por que el elemento de compresión (3) está unido a dicho tornillo cefálico (2) y aplica una presión sobre una de las caras laterales (14, 15) de dicho vástago femoral (1), de manera que la otra cara lateral (15, 14) del vástago femoral (1) esté en contacto con la arista inferior (251b) de la pared transversal proximal (251) del orificio transversal (25).
