Abstract

Un método de determinación de la posición de una unidad móvil (48) dentro de una zona de detección que comprende: emitir una señal acústica a partir de la unidad móvil; recibir dicha señal acústica a lo largo de una primera trayectoria (54) a partir de la unidad móvil; recibir un eco (58) de dicha señal acústica después de la reflexión a partir de una superficie (44) dentro de dicha zona de detección; determinar el tiempo de llegada en un primer transductor (20) de la señal acústica a lo largo de dicha primera trayectoria; determinar el tiempo de llegada del eco en un segundo transductor (12); y determinar la posición de la unidad móvil dentro de la zona de detección a partir de dichos tiempos de llegada, caracterizado por que el primer transductor está optimizado para la recepción de la señal de primera trayectoria, y el segundo transductor está optimizado para la recepción del eco.
