Abstract

Capuchón o cierre elaborado a partir de una composición de resina que consiste en al menos un 50 % en peso de un polietileno basado en el peso total de la composición de resina que tiene una densidad de al menos 0,940 g/cm3 y como mucho de 0,970 g/cm3 cuando se mide según el procedimiento de la ASTM D-1505 a 23 ºC, y entre un 2 y un 50 % en peso de ácido poliláctico basado en el peso total de la composición de resina.

La PE2 es una resina de polietileno monomodal Ziegler-Natta disponible comercialmente usada para los capuchones y los cierres, caracterizada por una densidad de 0,952 g/cm3, un índice de fusión de 2 g/10 min y una DPM de 5,9.
5 La PE3 es una resina de polietileno bimodal Ziegler-Natta caracterizada por una densidad de 0,954 g/cm3, un índice de fusión de 0,8 g/10 min y una DPM de 10,0.
La PLA 4060D es una poli-L-lactida amorfa disponible comercialmente.
La PLA 4042D es una poli-L-lactida semicristalina de PE1 y PLA disponible comercialmente, ambos en forma de pellas, se extruyeron a una temperatura de 180 ºC con una velocidad de tornillo de 500 rpm para producir cuatro 10 mezclas diferentes. La composición de cada mezcla se proporciona en la Tabla 2. Las mezclas se prepararon sin la adición de un agente de compatibilización.

Cada mezcla fue moldeada por inyección con una máquina de inyección Netstal Synergy 1000 equipada con un
15 molde de 4 cavidades. El diseño del capuchón era apropiado para bebidas sin alcohol carbonatadas y se ajusta a un cuello de PCO1810. La procesabilidad de la composición de resina y las propiedades de los capuchones obtenidos a partir de la misma se proporcionan en la Tabla 3.
