Abstract

Un dispositivo para la lectura de caracteres situados sobre un porta-caracteres con generación de impulsos eléctricos correspondientes a los mismos, especialmente para máquinas de contabilidad, transformadoras de datos y calculadoras, caracterizados por estar dotado de un dispositivo explorador con un elemento de desviación óptico giratorio, que explora por columnas el porta-caracteres a través de un objetivo y del elemento de desviación óptico giratorio, reproduciendo sus puntos sucesivamente sobre al menos un elemento eléctrico, sensible a la luz, y por que se ha previsto un tambor magnético, impulsado conjuntamente con el elemento de desviación giratorio y que está provisto de una huella imantada que, a través de un cabezal de lectura suministra impulsos eléctricos que corresponde a una reticulación lineal del porta-caracteres.
