Abstract
A limited torque clutch, comprising actuating and actuating elements arranged primarily co-axially, a rolling member carried by one of said elements and adapted so as to project radially into a notch or depression in the other of the indicated elements, in engagement with whose notch or depression it is maintained to effect the drive connection by means of several spring rings arranged coaxially connected to each other in contact, such being the arrangement that when the limited torque is exceeded, the rolling member leaves the notch or depression against the spring radiates loading to interrupt the drive.
