Abstract

Una prótesis tibial para interacción con una prótesis femoral que tiene una ranura central en la misma para el paso de los ligamentos cruzados, caracterizada porque dicha prótesis tibial o de tibia comprende una plataforma de meseta de tibia de forma en general de U, una pieza de inserción de apoyo unida de modo desmontable a cada rama de dicha plataforma de forma de U para contacto de deslizamiento con la superficie condilar de dicha prótesis femoral o de fémur, un vástago de fijación intermedular unido a dicha plataforma a lo largo de un borde de la misma, teniendo dicho vástago una sección transversal de forma en general de U cónica, siendo de forma de U el área de fijación de dicho vástago a dicha plataforma para definir con ello una abertura central para permitir el paso y la acción sin obstáculos de los ligamentos cruzados.
