Abstract

Pedal de gobierno para un vehículo automóvil, que comprende un brazo de palanca estructurado en dos partes unidas de manera articulada y provisto de medios para su acoplamiento mutuo y de forma que ambas partes puedan girar conjunta y simultáneamente alrededor de un eje de soporte en condiciones normales de operación. La primera parte está configurada en forma de horquilla y tiene un orificio pasante en el que está insertado un casquillo que permite su montaje de forma basculable alrededor del citado eje de soporte. El pedal comprende además una palanca de empuje giratoria alrededor de dicho casquillo capaz de deshabilitar el acoplamiento mutuo entre la primera y segunda partes del brazo de palanca, permitiendo el giro de la segunda parte respecto de la primera, en una dirección de alejamiento del conductor.
