Abstract

Un proceso para la preparación de un hidrogel completamente no tóxico y biocompatible, que incluye una primera etapa en la que al menos un polímero o copolímero que contiene funciones hidroxilo se hace reaccionar con al menos un compuesto que contiene al menos dos dobles enlaces carbono-carbono, en un entorno básico acuoso que consiste en una solución acuosa de KOH o NaOH a una concentración de entre un 10% y un 30% en agua para dar un hidrogel reticulado, en el que la reticulación se produce a través de la formación de enlaces éter entre los grupos hidroxilo de dicho polímero y/o un copolímero y los dobles enlaces de dicho al menos un monómero, e incluyendo además una etapa en la que el hidrogel reticulado obtenido se lava con agua bidestilada no pirogénica y se neutraliza; en el que dicho al menos un monómero está seleccionado de: diacrilatos, diacrilato de polietilenglicoles, diacrilato de glicerol 1-3 diglicerolato; bisacrilamidas, metilenbisacrilamida, etilenbisacrilamida, isopropilenbisacrilamida; dialilurea.

5 En un modo de realización preferente de la invención, el hidrogel de la presente invención entra dentro de la familia de dispositivos médicos y se inyecta por vía subcutánea por especialistas como una carga de partes blandas y como corrector inestético en cirugía estética.
10 Uno de los usos preferentes es, por tanto, el de carga que se puede inyectar y modelar en el sitio después de la aplicación y es biodegradable en tiempos más o menos largos, dependiendo del tipo de polímero y del tipo y el número de monómeros de reticulación usado para preparar el mismo.
De forma ventajosa, el hidrogel obtenible con el procedimiento de la presente invención cumple a la perfección las 15 necesidades expuestas anteriormente, como:
 está libre de monómeros residuales (de catalizadores o productos de reacción colaterales tales como dímeros) mantiene su propia viscosidad con el tiempo  es degradable con el tiempo y biocompatible es bacteriológicamente puro
20  tiene pH neutro  tiene una alta resistencia al agua caliente en agua  permite obtener varias variedades de características viscométricas, elastoméricas y de resistencia temporal  tiene viscosidad y consistencia homogénea y constante correspondiente con el tipo de aplicación que se ha de realizar en un campo médico.
25 La innovación generada por el procedimiento de la presente invención por tanto permite producir y proporcionar al experto en la técnica una amplia gama de hidrogeles homogéneos, estables y diferentemente estructurados, adecuados para cumplir la mayoría de los diferentes requisitos.
