Abstract

La presente invención divulga un sistema de propulsión de hélice no-carenada contrarrotativo con objeto, entre otros, de reducir los niveles efectivos de ruido generados por los propulsores contrarrotativos. El sistema de propulsión comprende un motor, un conjunto de accionamiento acoplado al motor, un primer eje de accionamiento rotativo en un primer sentido alrededor de un primer eje, una primera hélice acoplada al primer eje de accionamiento para girar en el primer sentido, y un conjunto de embrague para desembragar selectivamente la primera hélice del primer eje de accionamiento.
