Hidden device for wall mounting a structural component of a piece of furniture, with regulation from above.

The present invention relates to a hidden device for wall mounting a structural component of a piece of furniture, with regulation from above.

These devices are commonly known in the sector as hidden hangers, for example in EP 1 535 539 A1.

By way of non-limiting example, the invention is described herein by referring to the wall mounting of a wall cabinet, but it can also be used in the same way for mounting uprights (shoulders) that are part of a shelf or other furniture.

These devices also have the function of allowing regulations for the height and depth of the wall-mounted furniture, with respect to the wall itself and adjacent furniture.

The assembly of the furniture on the wall is carried out by means of an arm that extends from the body of the device and is attached to a support, for example, a bar, key, plate or similar article, fixed to the wall.

The previous height and depth regulations are carried out by acting on said arm through various types of mechanisms, which are controlled (from outside the device) by means of a maneuvering tool (for example, a screwdriver).

The present invention relates in particular to a so-called central shoulder support, that is, a concealed type hanger support that is intended to be inserted inside a seat located inside a shoulder of a piece of furniture, for example a wall cabinet or other furniture component.

So-called central shoulder brackets must meet the following main requirements.

First of all, its general configuration should be such that it allows easy and safe assembly inside the shoulder of the furniture, even if the corresponding seat is not perfectly complementary (fits perfectly).

Secondly, its structure must be such that it guarantees a firm and secure fixation to the shoulder of the furniture: that is, the wall cabinet under stress must not be uncoupled from its seat, causing the cabinet to fall.

Thirdly, the previous mechanisms for adjusting the height and depth of the furniture must be easily accessible and maneuverable from the outside: that is, even if the hanging bracket is inserted inside the shoulder of a closet, and independently of the type and position of the articulation system (hinged) of the door with respect to the cabinet itself.

Another requirement that must be fulfilled by the central shoulder supports is that they must include mechanisms for regulating the height and depth of the cabinet that are easy to manufacture and assemble and that have reliable operation.

Therefore, the general objective of the present invention is to provide a central shoulder support that can meet the above requirements, so that the drawbacks of the known technique are resolved.

This objective is achieved by means of a device, a so-called central shoulder hanging support with the characteristics specified in claim 1 and in the appended claims.

The structural and functional characteristics of the invention and its advantages over the known technique will become more clearly apparent from the following description, referring to the attached drawings, which show a possible practical embodiment of the invention.

As already specified, devices of this type are commonly known in the sector as central shoulder hanger brackets. The device 50 consists structurally of a flat rectangular body 52, which typically comprises two half-shells 53, 54, inter-coupled, and partially containing a hitch arm 55.

The arm 55 can be rotated around a bolt 56 in the directions of the arrow F (figure 5) and can also be moved back and forth in the directions of the arrow F1 (figure 6).

The rotation and translation of the arm 55 are controlled by means of two separate control mechanisms, which are generally indicated by reference numbers 57, 58, respectively.

The mechanism 57 serves to regulate the height (vertically) of the position of the panel 51, while the mechanism 58 serves to regulate the depth of the position (horizontally).

More particularly, as can be clearly seen in the various illustrative figures, the hitch arm 55 is formed in a single fork-shaped piece, with interspaced branches 59, open at the rear and flat and formed in the front , which define a hook 60 protruding through an opening 61 of the body 52. The hook 60 is intended to be engaged inside an opening 31 of a support 30 fixed to a wall 20. Said branches 59 of the arm 55, close to the open rear end, they are perforated as in 62, to receive bolt 56 on which they can rotate.

As can be clearly seen from the drawings, the hitch arm 55 is guided in its rotational and translational movements by the internal surfaces of the body 52 (Figure 6).

The mechanism 57, which controls the rotation of the arm 55 around the bolt 56, comprises a screw 63 that is screwed onto a nut 64 integral with the arm 55 itself.

To this end, the head 65 of the screw 63 is rotatably housed in a corresponding seat 67 of the two half-shells 53, 54.

Similarly, the end of the screw 63 opposite the head 65 is rotatably housed in a corresponding seat 66 of the half shells 53, 54.

In addition, a seat 68 is located at the head 65 of the screw 63 for a maneuvering tool that passes through a hole 69 of the body 52.

The mechanism 58, which controls the translation of the arm 55, comprises a screw 70 that is screwed through a threaded hole 71 of the bolt 56 on which the arm 55 itself rotates.

As can be clearly seen from the drawings, in particular from figures 5 and 6, the translation of said screw 70 is blocked at the front end by a support 72 and at the rear end by a support 73, on which screw 70 is rotatably mounted.

More particularly, the front end of the screw 70 is rotatably housed inside a seat 74 of the support 72, while the head 75 at the opposite end comprises a toothed crown 76 with which a gear 77 is engaged, which rotates on a bolt 78, whose axis of rotation is perpendicular to that of screw 70.

The gear 77 and the corresponding bolt 78 are housed in a corresponding seat 79 of the body 52.

A seat 80 is located in the gear 77 for a maneuvering tool that passes through a hole 81 of the body 52.

The screw 70 is rotatably supported, in correspondence with the crown gear 76, inside a groove 82 of the support 73 which, in turn, is firmly inserted inside a seat 83 defined by the coupling between the two half shells 53, 54.

The components of the above control mechanisms 57, 58, as can be clearly seen from the drawings, are housed inside a corresponding seat defined by the coupling between the two half-shells 53, 54, said seat being partially indicated with reference number 84 in figure 3.

The half shells 53, 54 are firmly inter-coupled, containing the kinematic mechanisms described above, by a plurality of bolts 85.

The body 52 described above, containing the mechanisms 57, 58 for regulating respectively the height and depth of the panel 51 (and consequently, the cabinet of which said panel 51 may be a part), also typically comprises an upright in box shape 86 for attaching the central shoulder pendant support 50 to panel 51, as explained below.

Said post 86 is structurally composed of a core 87 reinforced by a perimeter edge 88, connected at the ends, as clearly illustrated in the drawings.

The core 87 of the post 86 has an opening 89, in which the flat rectangular body 52 of the hanging bracket is mounted and fixed (Figures 7 to 10).

To this end, a box-shaped retaining tooth 90 protrudes, in correspondence with the edge of the body 52 above the hook 60, which defines, with the same body 52, a slit 91.

A fixing bolt 92 extends, in correspondence with the edge of the body 52, below the hook 60.

In this way, the body 52 can be fixed to the post 86, in correspondence with the opening 89, as illustrated in the sequence of Figures 7 to 10, that is, by first passing the tooth 90 through the opening 89, and then inserting the recess 91 in the soul 87 and the bolt 92 inside a hole 93 of the same soul 87. Finally, the bolt 92 is riveted, as in 94, over the soul 87, to get a connection

solid, stable and secure between body 52 and upright 86 (figures 5, 10, 13); therefore, body 52 and the

stile 86 are firmly cushioned against each other.

As can be clearly seen in the drawings, the opening 89 is eccentric, that is, it is located near the upper end of the post 86, with respect to the lower end.

The two lever arms B1 and B2, longer and shorter, respectively, are therefore defined in the fixing post 86, whose important function will be described below.

Arm B1 is located under body 52, while arm B2 is located above body.

The structured central shoulder hanger bracket 50 as described above is firmly attached to the panel 51 as follows, with particular reference to Figures 11 to 14.

The seats 95, 96 are located in the panel 51, in which the body 52 and the fixing post 86 of the hanging bracket 50 are also housed, also with a set (enlarged figure 15).

The hanging bracket 50 is firmly fixed in position by the box-shaped upright 86 that is screwed onto the panel 51 by a plurality of screws 97 that pass through holes 98 of the core 87 of the upright 86 itself.

Figure 16 illustrates, by way of non-limiting example, the hidden central shoulder hanging bracket according to the invention incorporated inside the shoulder 51 of a wall cabinet M.

The wall cabinet M is equipped with an articulated door A by means of an articulation system S of known type, which allows its rotation (around a horizontal axis) upwards (to open) and vice versa (to close).

As can be clearly seen from the enlarged detail of Figure 16, instead of the cumbersome presence of the articulation system S of the door A, which, in fact, causes a hanging bracket of visible type to be inaccessible from the front part (see, for example, EP 0 033 179), the hidden central shoulder hanger holder according to the invention, is easily accessible, from above, by means of maneuvering screwdrivers C which are introduced through holes 99, 100 in the panel 51 coaxial to the holes 69, 81 on the upper side L of the body 52 (Figure 15), according to the X axes that are in a plane that is substantially coplanar to the sides 101 of the shaped body of cash 52.

Therefore, it is possible to have access to the regulation mechanisms 57, 58 of the height and depth of the furniture M, as explained above.

Figures 17 to 28 illustrate a second embodiment of the invention, in which identical and / or equivalent details to those illustrated in Figures 1 to 16 have the same reference numbers, increased by 100, and will not be described in greater detail. detail in the present report.

In this second embodiment of the invention, the height adjustment mechanism 157 (vertically), instead of being housed inside the box-shaped body 152, is housed inside the fixing post 186.

More particularly, for this purpose, the position of the screw 163 and the corresponding nut 164 moves forward, near the hook 160 of the arm 155, as can be clearly seen in Figures 21, 22 of the drawings.

The head 165 of the screw 163, and the end of the latter opposite the head 165, are rotatably supported within the respective seats 166, 167.

The seat 166 is located in the body of the retaining tooth 190, while the seat 167 is located inside a section 102 protruding from the body 152 and defined by the reciprocal coupling between the two half shells 153, 154.

Said section 102 protrudes from body 152 near bolt 192, 194 riveted.

The head 165 of the screw 163 can be reached, by means of a maneuvering tool, for example a screwdriver C, through a hole 103 located at the upper end of the box-shaped stud 183, coaxially to the hole 169 of the shaped body of cash 152.

In the two embodiments described above, the regulation of the height and depth of the furniture M with respect to the wall 20 (and possibly also with respect to other adjacent furniture, not shown) is carried out by acting on the screws 63 , 163 and on gears 77, 177, respectively.

In fact, the rotation in one direction or another of the screws 63, 163 causes a rotation of the arms 55, 155 around the bolts 56, 156, due to the screwing of the screws 63, 163 into the nuts 64, 164.

15 The rotation in one direction or another of the gears 77, 177 (and crowns 76, 176), on the other hand, causes a translation of the arms 55, 155, due to the screwing of the screws 70, 170 in the holes 71, 171 of bolts 56, 156 which, therefore, are induced to move back and forth in a manner that is integral with arms 55, 155.

The seats 68, 168 and 80, 180 are accessible for a maneuvering tool (for example, a screwdriver) 20 introduced through the respective coaxial holes 69, 169 and 81, 181 located on the upper side L of the shaped bodies of box 52, 152, and through holes 99, 100 and 199, 200 of panels 51, 151.

Enlarged figures 15 and 27 illustrate how, thanks to the hidden central shoulder hanging bracket according to the invention, the serious problem of decoupling the body 152 of the hanging bracket of the respective seat 195 is resolved, even if the latter does not It is perfectly tailored.

The problem is solved by means of the fixing post 186 with the lever arms B1 and B2, longer and shorter respectively, which prevent a rotation in the clockwise direction of the panel 151 (subjected to the effort F1) around the point of P joint, thanks to the action of the forces of the components R1, R2, R3 and R4 and the

The collaboration between the core 187 and the perimeter edge 188 of the box-shaped fixing post 186 is important for this purpose.
