Abstract

Una silla de ruedas (1) en la que la posición angular de un eje de giro de una ruedecilla pivotante (6) con respecto a un elemento (18) de bastidor de la silla de ruedas es ajustable de una manera continua, no escalonada, en donde un eje transversal (16) proporciona una conexión de pivote de un conjunto de ruedecilla pivotante (12) con dicho elemento (18) de bastidor, permitiendo de ese modo pivotar el conjunto en un plano substancialmente vertical que se extiende en una dirección detrás-adelante, en donde se proporciona por lo menos un mecanismo ajustable de bloqueo (22, 23) para impedir a dicho conjunto pivotar en dicho plano vertical y para lograr un ajuste de la posición angular de dicho eje de giro de ruedecilla pivotante, caracterizado por que dicho mecanismo de bloqueo (22, 23) topa contra una barra (26) que forma parte de dicho conjunto de ruedecilla pivotante (12), dicha barra define el eje de giro de la ruedecilla pivotante (6), impidiendo de ese modo por lo menos parcialmente a dicho conjunto pivotar en dicho plano vertical y por que dicho mecanismo de bloqueo (22, 23) comprende un tornillo trasero (22) y un tornillo delantero (23), cada uno de dichos tornillos (22, 23) se inserta dentro de una rosca proporcionada en dicho elemento (18) de bastidor, dichos tornillos (22, 23) se disponen para ser coaxiales y de modo que las cabezas de dichos tornillos (22, 23) se orienten en sentidos opuestos, los extremos libres de dichos tornillos (22, 23) topan contra dicha barra (26) de dicho conjunto de ruedecilla pivotante (12).
