Abstract

Péptido útil como diana farmacológica para el cribado de moléculas para el tratamiento y/o prevención de la enfermedad de alzheimer, anticuerpo frente al mismo y uso del anticuerpo para el tratamiento y/o prevención de dicha enfermedad.#La presente invención se refiere a un péptido aislado de ocho aminoácidos localizado en el bucle luminal 1 de la primera región luminal de la presenilina, el cual es útil como diana farmacológica para el cribado de moléculas útiles para mejorar el rendimiento cognitivo y/o promover el desarrollo cognitivo, preferiblemente para tratar y/o prevenir la enfermedad de Alzheimer (EA). Asimismo, la invención se refiere a un anticuerpo específico frente a dicho péptido, el cual es útil para el tratamiento y/o prevención de la EA, y a composiciones farmacéuticas que comprenden dicho anticuerpo.
