Abstract

A helmet which can be removed without exerting any pull on the neck. It comprises a helmet body (1), with a right half-body (3) and a left half-body (4), each half-body (3, 4) comprising rigid casing (5, 6) and shock absorbing filling (7, 8) against impacts, comprising edges (17, 18, 19, 20) with recesses (23, 24, 25, 26) and projections (27, 28, 29, 30), to interlock in the recesses (23, 24, 25, 26) of the casing (5, 6) and the shock absorbing filling (7, 8) of each half-body (3, 4) in the projections (27, 28, 29, 30) of the casing (5, 6) and the shock absorbing filling (7, 8) of the other half-body (3, 4). It also comprises at least one removable strip (2, 43) traversing the projections (29, 30) of the shock absorbing fillings (7, 8) and of the casings (5, 6) of both half-bodies (3, 4), joining said half-bodies (3, 4).
