Abstract

The safety helmet for drivers of two-wheeled vehicles, and for sportsmen engaged in dangerous sports, is instantaneously removed in cases of accident, without damaging the wearer's head and neck further. The teeth are hollow and define a passage through which runs a connecting cable which is locked at the front by means of a screw. The cable is made of steel wire, in a plastics sheath.
