Abstract
Procedimiento de restauración de zonas áridas y semiáridas.#El procedimiento está previsto para conseguir una restauración ambiental de una zona que ha sufrido un proceso de deforestación secular, traducido en una pérdida de suelo fértil, así como una disminución drástica de la pluviometría y un incremento de la erosión muy generalizado. El procedimiento consiste en preparar inicialmente una enmienda organozeolítica obtenida en compostaje a base de material orgánico correspondiente a residuos de cultivos, y material de zeolita como producto inorgánico de origen volcánico. Además se obtienen plántulas tras la germinación de las correspondientes semillas, operación que se realiza en vivero y utilizando la enmienda organozeolítica referida, de manera que esas plántulas son sometidas a un periodo de endurecimiento y adaptación, para luego ser trasplantadas a un prototipo de maceta biodegradable obtenida a base de fibra de kenaf, estabilizada con un pegamento constituido por una mezcla de un producto hidrosoluble y un producto de menor solubilidad, de manera que la planta que ha crecido y endurecido en esa maceta biodegradable se introduce en un orificio realizado en el terreno en el que se va a llevar a cabo la restauración forestal, para que la planta pueda crecer con totales garantías durante periodos estivales.Restoration procedure of arid and semi-arid zones. # The procedure is planned to achieve an environmental restoration of an area that has undergone a process of secular deforestation, resulting in a loss of fertile soil, as well as a drastic decrease in rainfall and an increase of very widespread erosion. The procedure consists in initially preparing an organozeolitic amendment obtained in composting based on organic material corresponding to crop residues, and zeolite material as an inorganic product of volcanic origin. Seedlings are also obtained after germination of the corresponding seeds, an operation that is carried out in the nursery and using the aforementioned organozeolitic amendment, so that these seedlings are subjected to a period of hardening and adaptation, to then be transplanted to a biodegradable pot prototype obtained based on kenaf fiber, stabilized with a glue consisting of a mixture of a water-soluble product and a product of lower solubility, so that the plant that has grown and hardened in that biodegradable pot is introduced into a hole made in the ground in which the forest restoration is going to be carried out, so that the plant can grow with total guarantees during summer periods.
