Abstract

Description

Cardboard presentation box for a plurality of products.

Background of the invention

This invention relates to a presentation cardboard box for a plurality of products where the contained products are kept in a package in the cardboard box. The cardboard box is composed of a box and a separator, where the separator is held in position by means of slits in the side walls of the cardboard box. The front surface of the cardboard box may be at least partially transparent. Other surfaces may at least be partially transparent.

Many products are sold in quantities of two to ten or higher. Many of these products are preferably presented and kept in a package in the cardboard box. Keeping the products in a given set is useful in cases where the units can be seen through a partially transparent front surface. Units that can be seen across the front surface can be a significant factor for the product being purchased. The products are presented carefully to convey the due message about the product to the prospective buyer. In addition to this, the cardboard box should be of low cost, with evidence of having been manipulated and being versatile in its presentation. As used herein, it will be versatile in the presentation media for viewing either by resting on a store shelf or by suspending a hook box or similar hardware that extends outward from a vertical stand. When the product can be presented on a store shelf, then it can be stored on a shelf in the buyer's residence. The storage box can be used for a certain period of time. The cardboard box must have sufficient structural stability so that it cannot be damaged during shipment to the customer and for handling and presentation in the retail store. The cardboard box must also be sufficiently durable to protect the contained units against damage. To have evidence of tampering, it must be discernible from a casual inspection where the cardboard box has been the subject of any tampering or forcing. The US document US-A-2005/0115843 exposes a cardboard box with an interlock divider plate. Document US-A-2007/0228130 discloses a packaging box with a divided portion for guiding a fracture in the lateral face of the box.

The present cardboard box solves the previous problems by means of a single structure for the cardboard box. The cardboard box has a single structure, a single product separator, and a single inter-structure of the product separator. The low cost is achieved by the use of a design that minimizes the amount of material that maintains sufficient strength. It results in a presentation cardboard box for a plurality of products at a low cost, which are structurally stable, presenting evidence of manipulation, being versatile in its presentation.

Brief summary of the invention

The present invention is directed to a presentation cardboard box according to claim 1, wherein the cardboard box is for a plurality of products. Preferred features are defined in the dependent claims.

The cardboard box has at least one surface which is at least partially transparent in order to present the products of the container. This is preferably the front surface. Other surfaces, such as the upper surface may be at least partially transparent. The product separator will keep the product units adjacent to the front panel and any other panel with at least a partially transparent surface.

The lateral fins of the front panel have attached gluing fins, with a marking line between each of the lateral fins and the gluing fins. The gluing fin forms an angle with respect to the lateral fin. Each gluing fin has a plurality of gluing fins, where the gluing fins are fixed to the back panel of the cardboard box.

The first panel and the second panel of the product separator have a flat shape that conforms to the flat profile of the combined grooves, wherein the first panel and the second panel have a rectangular profile with the grooves having a rectangular shape.

The upper panel has a first hanging panel fixed the rear panel has a second hanging panel fixed, where the first hanging panel and the second hanging panel together form a common hanging panel of the cardboard box. The second hanging panel has independent tail fins to secure the rear panel in the closed position and a remaining fin to keep the rear panel closed.

The product separator has openings and a weakened area of the product separator to promote partial bending. The openings are provided to provide a grip of the separator product. Partial bending provides a way to insert and remove the product separator. The product separator provides that the product stays between the front panel and the product separator and the rear panel and the product separator.

The cardboard box is constructed from a blank cardboard that is composed of a front panel with an upper panel fixed at one end and a lower panel fixed at the other end. A rear panel is fixed on the bottom panel. Each front panel, upper panel and the lower panel have lateral fins, where the rear panel is devoid of the lateral fins. The upper panel has a first pendant panel and the rear panel has a second pendant panel, where each pendant panel has an opening. The lateral fins of the upper panel and the lateral fins of the lower panel have a groove, where the grooves are aligned when the blank cardboard is formed in a cardboard box to form the common grooves. Each front panel fin has a tail fin that has a plurality of tail fins. The front panel of the blank box has at least partial transparency.

The cardboard box can be manufactured with a wide range of materials. They vary from several types of cardboard to different plastics.

Detailed description of the invention

With reference to figure 1, template 11 is shown to form the presentation cardboard box 10 (figure 4). The template 11 is composed of a front panel 12 with a window 14 of the transparent front panel. At one end of the front panel 12 is an upper panel 18. The window 14 of the transparent front panel of the front panel 12 is shown as extending in the upper panel 18. The size, shape and orientation of the window of the panel 14 is not limited. as illustrated in figure 1. The window 14 of the panel could be smaller or larger in any way and orientation as long as the products of the cardboard box 10 are visible from the outside of the cardboard box 10. Fixed in the panel upper 18 is a first pendant panel 22 having a first opening 21 of the pendant panel. Attached to the front panel 12 opposite the upper panel 18, is a lower panel 20 with a lower panel 16 fixed to the other end of the lower panel 20. Attached to the lower panel 20 is a second hanging panel 24, which has a second opening 23 of the hanging panel. The second pendant panel 24 has a plurality of weakened lines 13 that delineate a plurality of fins 17 glued together. The front panel 12, upper panel 18 and the lower panel 20 each have the side fins 30, 32, 26, 34, 36. There are no side fins on the rear panel 16, or on the front pendant panel 22, or on the panel 24 rear pendant.

The front panel 12 has a left side flap 30 and a right side flap 32. Each of these lateral fins 30, 32 have a bonded fin 31, 33. The left side gluing fin 31 is attached to the left side fin 30, and the right side gluing fin 33 is fixed to the right side fin 32. A weakened area 15 exists between each of the gluing fins 31, 33 and the lateral fin 30, 32 to which they are fixed. Each of the right side gluing fins 32 and the left side gluing fin 30 has a plurality of gluing fins 38, wherein each gluing fin 38 is outlined with a weakened area 38 (a). Gluing fins 38 are a part of the tamper evidence structure of the cardboard box. The gluing fins 38 will be fixed to the inner surface of the rear panel 16 when the template 11 of the cardboard box has been folded to construct the cardboard box 10 (shown in Figure 4). When the cardboard box 10 opens the gluing fins 38 will remain fixed to the inner surface of the rear panel 16 because the weakened areas 38 (a) will be cut. When it is seen that the gluing fins 38 are fixed to the inner surface of the rear panel 16, it will be evidence that the cardboard box 10 will have been opened or handled.

Similarly, the weakened lines 13 of the rear panel will provide the second pendant panel 24 with broken glue fins 17. When the rear panel 16 is pulled out, the break glue fins 17 will be cut along the weakened lines 13 and will remain fixed to the front pendant panel 22.

The upper panel 18 has a right lateral upper flap 28 with a groove of the right lateral upper flap 27, and a left lateral upper flap 26 with a groove 25 of the right lateral upper flap. The lower panel 20 has a right lateral lower flap 36 which has a groove 37 of the right lateral lower flap and a lower left lateral flap 34, with a groove 35 of the left lateral lower flap. When the lower panel 20 and the upper panel 18, with their lateral fins fixed 34, 36 are folded to form the cardboard box 10, the groove 25 of the upper panel fin on the left side and the groove 35 of the panel fin Lower left side will form a single slit 25/35 combined along the inner surface of the left lateral flap 30. Similarly, the groove 27 of the flap of the right lateral upper panel and the fin 37 of the right lateral lower panel will form a groove 27/37 along the inner surface of the right lateral fin 32. These combined grooves 25/35 and 27/37 serve to fix the product separator 40 in the cardboard box 10.

The product separator 40 is shown in Figure 2. This product separator 40 is composed of a separator panel 42 with the grip openings 41. The separator panel 42 has an upper flap 48 of the separator panel and a lower fin 46 of the panel separator. A weakened area 47 may exist to allow a slight bending of the separator panel 42 when the grip openings 41 are grasped and removed together in a light manner. This will facilitate the insertion and removal of the separator 40 from the product of the cardboard box 10. The upper flap 48 of the separator panel and the lower flap 46 of the separator panel serve to align and support the product separator 40 in the cardboard box 10. The separator panel 42 has a first panel 44 and a second panel 45. Between the separator panel 42 and the first panel 44 and a second panel 45 there is a weakened area 39 outlined as a cutting line. There will be a bending of approximately 75 to 105 degrees on this weakened line 39. Usually the bending will be approximately 90 degrees. The first panel 44 and a second panel 45 will fit the combined slits 25/35 and 27/37. The exact combined slit into which the first locking panel 44 and the second locking panel 45 will fit together will be determined by the orientation of the product separator 40 when they will be inserted into the cardboard box 10. The product separator 40 is fixed in the cardboard box 10. The fixation means that the product separator 40 is supported in a stable position when inserted into the combined groove 25/35 and 27/37. The product separator can be separated and removed from the cardboard box 10.

Figures 3 and 4 show the cardboard box 10 formed from the template 11 of the cardboard box of Figure 1. Figure 3 shows the cardboard box 10 without the product separator 40, while Figure 4 shows the cardboard box 10 with the product separator 40. The cardboard box 10 is composed of the front panel 12 with the window 14 of the transparent front panel. The right lateral fin 32, the upper panel 18, and the combined openings of the first pendant panel 22 with the first panel 22 and the second pendant panel 24 are observed. In Figure 4, the inner surface of the flap 30 on the left side, the separator panel 42, and the grip openings 41 of the separator panel are further observed. All other parts of the cardboard box 10 of Figure 4 are the same as those shown in Figure 3. All parts of the cardboard box 10 of Figures 3 and 4 can be seen in the template 11 of the box of cardboard of figure 1 and of the separator of the product 40 of figure 2.

Figure 5 is a cross section of the cardboard box 10 of Figure 4 along line 5-5. The cardboard box 10 is shown in this view with the front panel 12 and the window 14 of the front panel, the rear panel 16 and the bottom panel 20. The front panel 12 has a left side flap 30 with the left glue 31 fixed and the right lateral fin 32, fixed to the right glue 33. Each glued fin has the glued fins 38. They are fixed to the inner surface of the rear panel 16. The lower left fin 34 forms a part of the combined grooves 25/35 and the lower right fin 36 which is part of the combined groove 35 / 37. The product separator 40 has the grip openings 41 with the first panel 44 and the second panel 45 of the separator panel 42. The first panel fits into the combined groove 25/35 and the second panel 45 fits into the combined groove 27 / 37. The lower separator panel 46 comprises the weakened weakened area 47.

Figure 6 is a front elevation view of the cardboard box 10 filled with product packages 50 and 52. These product packages 50/52 are located between the front panel 12 and the product separator 40. The product packages 50 / 52 are shown as thermally formed packages, each containing two portable toothbrushes. There is also a folding line 24 (a) where the remaining part of the second pendant 24 can be folded and aiding in closing the cardboard box again after an initial opening. This is shown in more detail in Figure 11.

Figure 8 is a cross-sectional view of one side of the cardboard box 10 along line 8-8 of Figure 7. This view shows the left side of the cardboard box 10 with the product separator 40 in position Front panel 12 is shown with panel 14 of the front window. The upper panel 18 and the lower panel 20 along the rear panel 16 complete the basic structure of the cardboard box 10. The fin 30 on the left side has a left side gluing fin 31 attached with the gluing fins 38. The gluing fins 38 fix the left side gluing fin 31 to the rear panel 16. The fin 26 of the upper panel and the fin 34 of the lower panel form the combined groove 25/35 where the first separator lock panel 44 is fitted. 40. This fixes the separator 40 in the position of the cardboard box 10. The first hanging panel 22 and the second hanging panel 24 are also shown in this view.

Figure 9 shows the cardboard box opening. Figure 10 shows the cardboard box 10 partially open. Figure 11 shows the cardboard box 10 closing. In Fig. 9, hands 60 and 62 remove the rear panel 16 by pulling the rear panel 16 from the rest of the cardboard box 10, thereby breaking the gluing fins 38. The gluing fins 38 are fixed to the left side gluing fin 31 before opening and rear panel 16 after opening. When the rear panel 16 is completely removed, the product units can be removed from the cardboard box 10. As shown in this view, the second hanging panel 24 and the second opening of the hanging panel 23 are observed. With this second opening 23 Hanging in combination with the first opening 21 of the hanging panel, the cardboard box 10 can be displayed on a hook on a shelf. The second pendant panel 24 and the first pendant panel 22 are shown separated with the cardboard box open. The glued fins 17 are shown cut from the second pendant panel 24 and fixed to the first pendant panel 22. The remaining part of the second pendant panel 24 can be grasped to open the cardboard box 10. After an initial opening of the pendant box cardboard 10, the cardboard box 10 can be closed again and by folding the remaining part of the second hanging panel 24 at a right angle by inserting it into the space 29 under the upper panel 18. This will keep the rear panel 16 in a closed position until there is another extraction of the product from the cardboard box 10. This is shown in more detail in Figure 11. This view shows the remaining part of the second hanging panel 24 (removing the breaking fins 17) bending along the line 24 (a) and inserted into space 29 below the upper panel 18.

This cardboard box 10 is useful in the presentation and sale of a wide range of products. A row of products can be displayed within the window 14 of the front panel, between the window 14 of the front panel and the product separator 40. The products between the window 14 of the front panel and the product separator 40 will be kept in a tight set . The products between the product separator 40 and the back panel 16 can be placed in any assembly. These products will not be seen at the time of purchase. In figure 6 the products shown were toothbrushes. Cardboard box 10 has been found particularly useful for this type of product. However, they can be used for a wide range of products.

The cardboard box 10 can be manufactured with a wide range of materials. These range from various types of cardboard to various plastic materials. The cartons can be new cartons for folded boxes and bleached cartons. Various qualities of recycled cardboard can also be used. Useful cartons include several "Swissboard". The cartons have a weight of approximately 250 to 500 g / m2, and a thickness of approximately 0.25 millimeters to 1.5 millimeters. Plastics that can be used instead of cartons include polyethylenes, polypropylenes, ethylene copolymers, propylene copolymers, vinyl polymers and copolymers, acrylic polymers and copolymers and polyesters, such as polyethylene terephthalate. A cardboard box as in claim 1, wherein the upper panel (18) has a first fixed hanging panel (22), and wherein the rear panel (16) has a second fixed hanging panel (24), wherein The first pendant panel and the second pendant panel each have an opening (21, 23) to form a common pendant panel, where a remaining part of the second pendant panel (24) can be folded to re-close the cardboard box.
