The present invention relates to a covering, closing device and the like.

The present invention applies to the coverage of the different underground pipes, especially in the technical sectors of sewerage, telecommunications and different supply networks (water, electricity, gas, etc.).

10 BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Covering, closing and similar devices of the type comprising an element are known.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The objective of the covering, closing and the like device of the present invention is to solve the drawbacks of the devices known in the art, by providing a covering device that guarantees proper functioning of the closing means.

The covering, closing device and the like, object of the present invention, is of the type comprising a fixed outer frame, a cover which in the closed position is coupled on the frame, and closing means for securing the cover to the frame accessible from an opening in the lid, and is characterized in that said closing means comprise a protective element capable of covering said closing means according to an initial position, said protective element being movable to a final position of access to said means of closing.

Thanks to the protective element, the accumulation of dirt on the closing means is avoided, guaranteeing their proper functioning. Also, said protective element can act as a beautifying element by hiding said closing means.

Advantageously, said protective element includes elastic means of return to its initial coverage position. This ensures that the closing means are always protected.

Preferably, said protective element is operable manually or by means of a suitable tool. According to an embodiment of the invention, the

opening in the lid for access to the closing means has an equilateral triangle configuration with rounded vertices, and in which said protective element comprises an elongated flat element of rounded ends disposed within the contour of said triangular opening, capable of pivoting around one of its ends in contact with a vertex of said triangular opening, thus defining the initial position of coverage and the final position of access to the closing means.

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIG. 1, the covering device 1 of the invention comprises a fixed outer frame 2, and a cover 3 which in the closed position is coupled on the frame 2.

As can be seen in Figures 2 and 3, the covering device 1 also comprises closing means 4 to secure the cover 3 to the frame 2 accessible from an opening 5 in the cover 3. Said closing means

5 4 comprise a protective element 6 capable of covering said closing means 4 according to an initial position (see figure 2), said protective element 6 being movable to a final position of access to said closing means (see figure 3).

Said protective element includes elastic means to return to its initial coverage position and is operable manually or by means of a suitable tool. Document D01 presents all these characteristics with the only difference that said closing element is used for the same purpose for the introduction of the starter key of a car, said difference is only one embodiment and cannot be considered to imply activity inventiveness.
