D01 is considered the prior art document closest to the claimed object.

Independent claim 1.

Document D01 discloses (the reference signs refer to this document) a folding display rack formed entirely of rigid cardboard sheets (see paragraph [0002]) joined together determining a body that can adopt a folded transport position (8) and another deployed position (6) capable of staying vertically upright.

The display rack consists of: -A body consisting of two vertical side walls (40 and 42) and a rear wall (21). Each side wall is hinged by its posterior edge to a lateral edge of the posterior wall (21). -A plurality of substantially horizontal transverse bridges (90), arranged at different heights, fixed by their ends (51, 56) to the two side walls and with two fold lines (54, 58) that allow bending. -A shelf (100) hinged on the rear wall (21) at the height of each transverse bridge (90) that in position operational is supported on its respective cross bridge (90).

In view of the foregoing, claim 1 is novel in accordance with Art. 6.1 LP, Law 11/1986.

Dependent claims Claim 2.

The configuration of each of the shelves disclosed in document D01 is flat. However, the configuration claimed in the present application is well known in the field of folding shelves-display units.

By way of example, the shelves disclosed in document D02 (references refer to this document) are provided on their front edge with an articulated flange (11) with foldable side brackets (13).

Consequently, claim 2 lacks inventive activity according to Art. 8.1 LP, Law 11/1986.

Claim 3.

The transverse bridges disclosed in document D01 (the reference signs refer to D01) are provided with two bending lines (54, 58) that are born in their frontal edge forming with both edges an angle of 45 degrees and each other of 90 degrees.

Therefore, claim 3 is novel in accordance with Art. 6.1 LP, Law 11/1986.

Claims 4 and 5.

Document D01 lacks a skirt below the lower shelf. The technical effect of the skirt is to provide the structure with greater stability in its position of use.

However, this feature is known in the state of the art, for example in document D03. In said document (the reference signs refer to D03) below the lower shelf is arranged a front skirt

(100) provided with extreme side edges that join the side walls (36) of the body. The skirt (100) is provided with a horizontal fold (98) and two vertical fold lines (114, 116) symmetrically arranged.

It is considered that one skilled in the art would attempt to combine the main parts of document D01 with document D03 of the nearest state of the art.

Consequently, claims 4 and 5 lack inventive activity according to Art. 8.1 LP, Law 11/1986.
