Object of the invention

The invention, as expressed in the statement of the present specification, refers to an opaque fabric, contributing to the function to which considerable advantages are destined, apart from others inherent to its organization and constitution, which will be described in detail below, which represent a remarkable improvement compared to what is already known in the state of the art.

More particularly, the object of the invention is focused on a fabric whose innovative configuration, from a unique construction of the weave structure between warp and weft, together with a high density of the threads made possible by said structure, provides the same an opacity of between 90 and 95% not achieved to date by any known system, making it advantageously suitable for use, for example and without a limitation, in the manufacture of curtains or blinds replacing blinds to avoid Light entry into a room. The field of application of the present invention falls within the technical sector of the textile industry, particularly in the field of making curtains, blinds and the like, but also encompassing any other field in which the use of opaque fabrics is required. Background of the invention

As it is known, to prevent the entry of light in doors and windows, if you do not want to use blinds, you usually resort to the installation of curtains or blind curtains, which, known as “fuscuri”, to achieve their opacity are made from plastic materials that are also generally dark in color.

The fact that said "fuscuri" blinds or curtains are of plastic material or fabrics with a coating on one of their faces of plastic material, is due to the fact that, to date, the yarn fabrics, regardless of the material or color with that are manufactured, they never manage to reach sufficient levels of opacity to guarantee a sufficient opacity that prevents the entrance of light into a room.

On the other hand, given the unsightly effect that the aforementioned “fuscuri” usually provide for the structure and fall of the plastic material with which they are made, it is generally used to cover them with woven curtains to hide them.

This means that, in order to dress a window, the aforementioned “fuscuri” of plastic material and on this other set of curtains are usually incorporated, in addition to a curtain, with which the cost of said covering, taking into account that each curtain requires its own support lane, rises considerably, not to mention the placement time required by said set of curtains.

Logically, when said expense is extrapolated to the preparation of multiple curtains to cover the numerous windows that may have, for example, a hotel or other type of establishment, the cost is multiplied.

Well, the essential objective of the present invention is to provide to the state of the art I a fabric that allows to achieve the opacity of a "fuscuri" utilization of plastic material and, consequently, maintaining the aesthetic and broth advantages of the tissues, It should be noted that on the part of the applicant the existence of any other fabric that presents technical, structural and constitutive characteristics similar to those presented here is unknown.

Explanation of the invention.

Thus, the opaque fabric that the present invention proposes is con fi gured as a remarkable novelty within its field of application, since, according to its creation and in a restrictive way, the objectives previously indicated as suitable are satisfactorily achieved, with the characterizing details being which make it possible, and that distinguish it from what is already known in the state of the art, suitably set forth in the final claims that accompany the present specification.

Specifically, what the invention advocates is a fabric, eminently intended to be used in the manufacture of window curtains where it is not desired to install exterior blinds to prevent the entry of light into the room, but without limiting it, to which said fabric has an opacity that reaches between 90 and 95%, depending on the color used, achieved thanks to its innovative configuration determined by the unique construction of the weave structure between warp and weft that presents with a very high density of the threads, which, in turn, is possible thanks to this unique construction of its structure.

Said weave structure between warp and weft comprises the construction of a double fabric irregularly joined by a warp ligation point, which is achieved from the interweave of weft yarn passes with alternating warp yarns with weft passes and non-woven warp, generating a kind of inner lining formed by the non-woven warp and acting as a second fabric allowing to achieve the high opacity mentioned above, said non-woven warp threads being joined together each certain space by means of the aforementioned ligature points that they are distributed irregularly along the corresponding pass.

Thus, with the aforementioned structure, two fabrics are formed that are totally independent in terms of the wefts used, since, as said, they are only linked in one of them, which gives the resulting tissue scratched effects by one of its smooth faces and effects or of different designs on the other, always maintaining the described opacity.

Logically, depending on the tones chosen, this opacity may increase more or less, since naturally the dark colors will provide greater opacity, however, the described structural configuration of the ligaments of the fabric allows an infinite combination of colors and totally opaque designs thanks to the lining generated inside.

This construction also allows the aforementioned high density of the recommended fabric to be achieved, that is, the number of weft and warp threads contemplated per cm2. note that, generally, in a normal fabric it is usually around 20 weft threads per 25 warp.

On the other hand, and since its essential application is the preparation of curtains for hotel establishments and the like, the recommended opaque fabric may be subjected to the appropriate fire retardant treatments, without thereby losing the distinctive features that distinguish it.

The described opaque fabric thus represents an innovative structure with structural and constitutive characteristics, unknown until now for such purpose, reasons that, together with its practical utility, provide it with a sufficient basis to obtain the privilege of exclusivity that is requested. To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is attached, as an integral part thereof, of a set of drawings, in which with character Illustrative and not limiting, the following has been represented:

Figure 1 shows a schematic view of an example of the repetitive pattern that forms the weave structure between warp and weft comprising the opaque tissue object of the invention, its unique construction being appreciated. Preferred Embodiment of the Invention

In view of the described Figure 1, and according to the numbering adopted therein, it can be seen how the opaque fabric (1) in question has the peculiarity of having a unique ligament structure between the warp threads (2) and the passes of weft threads (3) which allows to increase their opacity while achieving a very high density of threads to increase said opacity.

For this, said ligament structure between the warp (2) and weft (3) threads comprises interwoven passes (4) of weft threads (3) with the warp threads (2) alternated with non-woven passes (5) of weft threads (3) and warp threads (2) in which, irregularly, each certain space along said nonwoven pass (5), a ligature point (6) between warp threads ( 2) of the interwoven past (4) anterior and posterior, thus generating a kind of inner lining that acts as a second fabric that allows to achieve the high opacity mentioned above.

As seen in the scheme of Figure 1, in a preferred embodiment of the proposed fabric (1), the repetitive pattern of the ligament structure thereof comprises eight warp threads (2) and sixteen passes of weft threads (3 ), being bound so that the threads of the weft passes (3) are only interwoven with the warp threads (2) every two passes, that is, in knitted passes (4) (represented in the figure by cross rows ), forming the designs that are desired in each case, alternated with non-woven passes (5) (represented in the scheme by means of dotted lines), which are joined together irregularly, according to the desired design, by a point of ligature (6) (represented by crosses in a circle) between warp threads (2) every certain space.

In this way, the ligament structure generates the aforementioned nonwoven warp inner lining whose opacity effect adds to the high density of threads per cm2 which, thanks to the described structure, can be achieved and is located in a range from 40 to 60 passes of weft threads and 56 to 76 warp threads, varying depending on the type of material used in each case, providing the aforementioned opacity levels of between 90 to 95%.

Sufficiently describing the nature of the present invention, as well as how to put it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make its explanation more extensive so that any person skilled in the art understands its scope and the advantages derived therefrom, stating that, within its essentiality, it may be implemented in other embodiments that differed in detail from that indicated by way of example, and to which it will also achieve the protection that is sought as long as it does not alter, change or modify its fundamental principle .

Opaque fabric according to claim 1, characterized in that, in a preferred embodiment of the fabric (1), the repetitive pattern of the ligament structure thereof comprises eight warp threads (2) and sixteen passes of weft threads (3), which are linked so that the threads of the weft passes (3) are only interwoven with the warp threads (2) every two passes, that is, in woven passes (4), forming the designs that desired in each case, alternated with non-woven passes (5), which join each certain space irregularly, according to the desired design, by means of a ligature point (6) between warp threads (2) of the interwoven passes (4) before and after said nonwoven pass (5).

The technical effect to look for is the combination of the number of threads and the technical problem is to find a similar pattern. Document D02 discloses an example of a pattern nx2n (warp x weft), that is, weaving in such a way that the threads of the weft passes are only interwoven with the warp threads every two passes, that is, in woven passes , forming the designs that are desired in each case (see cases 1 to 4, D02), alternated with non-woven passes, which join each certain space irregularly, according to the desired design, by means of an interwoven or ligation between warp threads of interwoven passes, before and after said nonwoven pass. It would be apparent to one skilled in the art to combine the characteristics disclosed in document D02 with those anticipated by document D01, to obtain an opaque fabric similar to that described. Therefore, the second claim has no inventive activity (Art. 8 L11 / 86). Claim 3, dependent on R1, states that the opaque fabric is such that the density of threads per cm2 of the fabric is in a range between 40 to 60 passes of weft threads (3) and 56 to 76 warp threads (2), varying depending on the type of material used in each case.
