Abstract
Sistema para generar hidrógeno a partir de la
fuerza del viento.
Consiste en un velero (1), una/s turbinas
ancladas al mismo (2), un generador eléctrico (3), una estación de
producción de hidrógeno (4) y una unidad de presurización y
almacenaje (5).
Description
Sistema para generar hidrógeno a partir de la
fuerza del viento.
La invención tiene por objeto la obtención de
hidrógeno aprovechando la fuerza del viento.
Son conocidos diferentes sistemas para la
obtención de hidrógeno mediante la utilización de diferentes tipos
de energía. No obstante, hasta el momento, la obtención del mismo
resultaba poco competitiva para su uso de forma generalizada.
La presente invención tiene como finalidad
proporcionar un sistema para la obtención de hidrógeno en grandes
cantidades mediante la utilización de energía renovable, todo ello
a un coste relativamente competitivo.
El sistema para generar hidrógeno a partir de la
fuerza del viento, objeto de la invención, comprende un velero
optimizado para la máxima eficiencia del mismo, con todos los
sistemas y equipamientos típicos para la navegación, además de un
motor auxiliar de maniobra.
Además, para la obtención propiamente dicha, el
sistema incorpora sobre la misma nave, por lo menos una turbina
sumergida en el agua que, al ser accionada por el paso de una
corriente de fluido a través de la misma, cosa que se consigue
gracias al impulso que la fuerza que el viento genera sobre el
velero, proporciona energía mecánica que, transferida a un
generador, se usa para la producción de energía eléctrica. A su vez,
ésta se utiliza para la producción de hidrógeno.
El hidrógeno producido se comprime de forma
adecuada y se almacena convenientemente en depósitos especiales
ubicados en el interior del casco de la nave, o bien en
contenedores externos remolcados por la misma.
La Fig. 1 es una vista en perspectiva del objeto
de la invención.
La fuerza del viento impulsa el velero
provocando el movimiento del mismo(1); dicho movimiento
genera un paso de corriente de agua a través de las turbinas (2)
imprimiéndoles un movimiento giratorio, obteniendo la
correspondiente energía mecánica. Ésta es transferida al generador
(3), convirtiéndola en energía eléctrica. Posteriormente, la
electricidad se utiliza en la estación de producción de hidrógeno
(4) para la obtención de dicho elemento. El hidrógeno obtenido se
presuriza y se almacena en la unidad final (5).
Claims (1)
1. Sistema para generar hidrógeno a partir de la
fuerza del viento que esencialmente comprende un velero (1), una/s
turbinas ancladas al mismo (2), un generador eléctrico (3), una
estación de producción de hidrógeno (4) y una unidad de
presurización y almacenaje (5).
