Sistema de construcción de edificaciones de madera, de una o mas plantas, a base de paneles (1, 2, 3 y 4) compuestos por agrupaciones de tablones (5) verticales coplanarios adosados por sus cantos verticales, y unidos mediante barras tensoras (8) alojadas en taladros alineados (7) que presentan los tablones entre sus cantos verticales, mediante las que se lleva a cabo la unión horizontal entre paneles, caracterizado porque la unión vertical entre paneles coplanarios superpuestos (1-3 y 2-4), así como entre paneles y la estructura (35) de cubierta y la cimentación (37), se lleva a cabo mediante elementos de unión que quedan ocultos en los paneles y están compuestos por perfiles hembra (14), perfiles macho intermedios (15) y perfiles macho extremos (16-16'); cuyos perfiles hembra (14) van embutidos en conformaciones longitudinales centrales que presentan los paneles en sus cantos longitudinales y desembocan en los cantos verticales de dichos paneles; y cuyos perfiles macho intermedios (15) sirven como medio de unión entre paneles coplanarios superpuestos (1-3 y 2-4) y van montados insertos en los perfiles hembra (14) enfrentados de dichos paneles coplanarios superpuestos; y cuyos perfiles macho extremos (16-16') sirven como medio de unión entre paneles (1 y 3), con la estructura (35) de cubierta y con la cimentación (37) y van montados en los perfiles hembra (14) enfrentados a dicha estructura de cubierta y cimentación; estando los perfiles hembra (14) y macho (15, 16 y 16') impedidos de desplazamiento transversal respecto de las conformaciones citadas de los paneles y de los perfiles hembra (14), respectivamente.1.
